AI-native ERP in Argentina: what it is and why fiscal depth matters

What an AI-native ERP means, why knowing the Argentine tax system changes everything, and how Finy operates the three modules with you approving.

What an AI-native ERP is

A traditional ERP is a system of record: you enter the data and it stores it. An AI-native ERP flips the work: the AI reads your invoices, classifies them, proposes the journal entry and leaves the final call to you.

It isn't a chatbot bolted onto an old ERP. It is an agent that operates day-to-day accounting (Finy) and a person who reviews and approves. The machine does the repetitive work; you bring the judgment.

The deep change is who writes the first draft. Instead of a person typing every entry, the AI drafts it from the real invoice, and the person shifts from operating to supervising.

Why LatAm fiscal depth matters

A global ERP knows invoices, but it doesn't know ARCA. It can't tell input VAT from output VAT, it doesn't understand IIBB perceptions and withholdings by jurisdiction, nor the Ley 25.413 tax that shows up on every bank statement.

Finwaise was built with that context inside, starting with Argentina. Invoices are classified with local VAT rates, the books come out in the format ARCA asks for, and perception and withholding regimes are applied where they belong. Fiscal depth isn't a plugin: it's the core.

The three modules

Finwaise covers the cycle with three modules that share the same data and the same agent:

  • Purchases (accounts payable): from receiving the invoice to paying it, with input VAT and withholdings.
  • Sales (accounts receivable): invoicing, output VAT, perceptions charged and collections.
  • Reconciliation (Treasury): bank accounts, statements and automated reconciliation.

Finy: it proposes, you approve

The agent receives invoices through the channels you already use (WhatsApp included), reads them and builds the proposal: which supplier or customer, which account, which taxes. You review it and confirm.

That human-in-the-loop model is deliberate. In accounting, fast isn't enough: it has to be auditable and correct. Every Finy proposal keeps its evidence, and nothing is recorded without your sign-off.

Start simple, scale up

You don't have to migrate the whole company on day one. Start with Purchases, add Sales when you need it, and turn on Treasury to close the loop. The modules share data, so growing never means re-entering anything.

Integrated with your stack

Being AI-native doesn't mean being an island. Finwaise connects to the tools you already use: a native Odoo connector that pushes entries to your ERP per company, a REST API and webhooks so your systems can read and write data, and an MCP server that connects Claude or other AI assistants straight to your books.

So the agent never forces you to abandon what works. You can keep your ERP or your usual dashboard and add Finwaise as the layer that processes invoices, proposes entries and keeps the tax side in order.

Auditable, not a black box

In a mid-sized company, accounting has to survive a review: your accountant's, a bank's, ARCA's. That's why Finwaise doesn't hide the agent's reasoning behind a magic button.

Every Finy proposal shows where it came from: the source invoice, the suggested account, the computed taxes. When you confirm it, it's recorded with who approved it and when. If an entry needs explaining tomorrow, the answer is one click away, not lost in anyone's memory.

Fewer hours on the repetitive

The concrete value of an AI-native ERP is measured in time. Classifying invoices, finding the right supplier, computing taxes and building the entry are tasks repeated hundreds of times a month that need almost no judgment, perfect to hand to an agent.

What's left for people is what does need judgment: reviewing exceptions, deciding the doubtful cases, watching the business. The team stops being data-entry and moves to supervising, where its time is worth more.
